About CalCIMA
CalCIMA is a non-profit member organization for the construction and industrial material industries in California, which includes aggregate, industrial mineral, and ready mixed concrete producers. In all, there are about 100 producer member companies that include over 500 production sites in every county of California. Our members also include over 60 supplier and service providers to the industry.
What Does CalCIMA Do?
In addition to being the trade association for the industry, we also:
- Offer extensive information on aggregates, industrial minerals, and ready mixed concrete to the public, government, teachers and students, business, the media, our members, and other organizations
- Address legislative, regulatory, and environmental issues affecting the industry
- Provide members with safety, technical, and compliance training
- Work with allied industry groups
- Support K-12 teachers and students by helping the California Mineral Education Foundation (CMEF) provide earth science training workshops and materials to California's K-12 teachers
Locations
CalCIMA is headquartered in Sacramento and has a regional office in South Pasadena. There are also a network of chapters and ad-hoc groups that enable members to focus on local issues.
