CalCIMA members share a strong commitment to educating California's children. We are proud that our members actively support our schools, and believe that helping students and school teachers is an important component of serving the communities where we live and operate. Some of the ways members support schools include:

CalCIMA is also a sponsor of the California Minerals Education Foundation, an educational non-profit solely dedicated to developing and administering mineral education programs for K-12 teachers. The CMEF link offers information on teacher workshops and lesson plans, and links to websites that provide such teaching resources as posters, videos, mineral kits, and other information.
