Driving Change in Permitting and Land use
The Construction materials industry has facilities in and provides construction materials to every corner of the State. Our broad network of facilities enables reductions in emissions providing the materials which build California. As such we have facilities throughout the State and, in some cases, nearby some of the most significantly impacted environmental justice communities. As new criteria are set to protect environmental justice communities, industry will need to continue to adapt to meet these expectations. This discussion will focus on what companies can do to interact productively in this environment.
