Metallurgist
Oversee metallurgical activities related to a large-scale heap leach operation including preparation of metallurgical balances and reports, conducting metallurgical testing and developing management system procedures.

The work environment is typical office work space with frequent visitation to inside and outside manufacturing and production facilities / areas that includes but is not limited to: hot temperatures, uneven ground, loud noise, and long-distance transit over rough terrain with moving heavy machinery and non-street legal vehicles present, e.g., forklifts, 200-ton haul trucks, front-end loaders, grader equipment, tracked and rubber-tire dozers, etc.

Business equipment such as computers, copier, fax, telephone, mobile devices (iPhone), etc. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required when venturing out into the production areas that includes hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear and other PPE as determined to protect the individual. Use of mine radio equipment and understanding radio protocol /etiquette is required.

The employee is frequently required to stand and walk throughout a mining property through
hot, flat, sloping environments which could be hazardous in the absence of due care. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee will occasionally be required to travel in and out of state on commercial aircraft and in various automobiles. There is need to stand, walk, sit, reach and demonstrate manual dexterity, talk, hear and see.
