Women of CalCIMA Committee: The CalCIMA Women in Construction Materials Forum is committed to working with CalCIMA staff to celebrate diversity in the construction industry, facilitate discussions about the tools that will support women in the industry, bring the women of CalCIMA together to provide professional development, strengthen and empower women who work in our industry, and provide mentorship and sponsorship for women in industry.

The Women of CalCIMA would like to prepare “Personal Care Kits” to the women who work in the field in the construction and industrial materials industry to let them know that they are part of the team! These kits will include bags that will be filled with contents such as sunscreen, lip balm, first aid kits, flashlights, refillable water bottles, etc., all which could be manufactured with your logo. We are looking for sponsors to help in the procurement and distribution of these Personal Care Kits. Meet Women of CalCIMA Leadership​
Juliet Jacobson - Co-Chair
Juliet Jacobson is a Plant Administrator for Granite Construction Company in Indio, CA, where she works with people in the construction industry to ensure the education, retention and promotion of women in materials and construction. Juliet holds two AA and one AS from Mt. San Jacinto College, a BA in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino, and an MS in Accountancy from University of the Pacific. She has worked as a Professional Expert at MSJC, as a Certified Tax Preparer for H&R Block and in Medical Billing. She has 5 children and 7 grandchildren, and in her free time, she enjoys water activities, dancing and motorcycle riding.

Talia Flagan - Co-Chair
Talia Flagan is the District Production Manager for Martin Marietta, facilitating production and operational excellence across Southern California. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from Montana Tech and an MBA from Boise State University. Talia has 16 years in the Construction Materials industry holding positions across the United States in multiple business lines and technical role. She enjoys promoting the industry to stakeholders across the spectrum and looks forward to encouraging more women to join.
